Estate Grown and Bottled Finger Lakes, New York
Who Was William Vigne? William Vigne was the first generation of Fulkersons in New Amsterdam in about 1619. The Vignes were one of the 30 Walloon families selected by the Dutch West India Company to establish a permanent settlement in New Netherlands. In 2010, Fulkerson Winery unveiled the William Vigne label on a Dry Riesling and a Juicy Sweet Riesling. The line has been expanded and now includes Gruner Veltliner and Zweigelt as well. This line pays homage to the history, heritage, and tradition of the Fulkerson family.
